DOMOWE SPA
Nutmeg has been used in households throughout history. Much like cloves, our ancestors used it for its anaesthetic power, particularly for tooth aches or even for menstrual pain.
A remedy based on an old wives’ tale was to perform a gentle massage with Nutmeg Essential Oil dissolved in a vegetable oil for people who were anxious because they couldn’t stop their minds going around in circles.
Various tribes used it for its psychotropic power as well, or during rituals to connect with the feeling of pleasure and delight. For that reason it is known as a powerful aphrodisiac.
